For dogs and cats, rabies vaccination certificate is also required.
Birds including parrots, require veterinary health certificate.
Prohibited: Transportation of extinction endangered bird species.
Pets may enter as passenger's checked baggage, in the cabin or as cargo.
Import permit from Ministry of Agriculture is required for pet birds accompanying passengers, except for birds destined to M?rida and Campeche.
